City of Hamilton Water and Wastewater Division Headquarters & Training Centre

$35 Million value. - Hamilton, Ontario

New 100,000 sq ft Divisional Headquarters office building and service centre with adjacent works yard facility. TCA has conducted a thorough functional and programmatic analysis across entire division (approx. 300 staff), and developed comprehensive divisional space standards and space plan concepts and designs. Testing of programme and space standards by TCA have resulted in an approximately 30% reduction in net space requirements.

 

The complex includes divisional headquarters offices and support spaces, a system control centre and crisis centre, conference facility, regional training centre, public recreation and information centre, along with a consolidated works yard, and integrated with passive and active recreation facilities and links to the Red Hill Valley and Lake Ontario waterfront.
