A key collaborator since 2007, Stevan enjoys the broad range of project types and scales we deliver at CGS. An integral part of CGS's leadership team, Stevan is impeccably organized, resourceful, proactive, and conveys a quiet confidence. These qualities make him the go-to person in the office for guidance, especially among junior staff.

As principal architect, Stevan maintains design quality as projects progress and acts as a main point of contact and coordination with the consulting team on a day-to-day basis. With comprehensive experience in a broad range of project types and in all phases of project development, Stevan is fully involved throughout a project's life. Recent project successes include The St. Thomas Affordable Housing + Social Services Hub, The Halton McMaster Family Health Clinic, and various school additions for the Grand Erie and Hamilton Wentworth District School Boards.

A University of Waterloo graduate, Stevan has a keen interest in sustainable design. In designing and building his own house, he incorporated a number of sustainable design strategies including straw bale construction, solar panels, and radiant heat floors.  Stevan was promoted to Associate in 2012, Senior Associate in 2014, and became a Principal in 2022.

Favourite Architects: Alvar Aalto – modernism meets local craft and placemaking.

Favourite Hamilton Building: Hidden gem apartment building in Dundas at 32 Alma – a little piece of Scandinavia in the Valley Town.

Favourite Buildings: Three city/town halls: Toronto, Säynätsalo, Murcia. They create three great urban spaces suited for three very different places.

Architectural Guilty Pleasure: Brutalism/board-formed concrete, Sea Ranch.
